Topic: NSCS 2010 Mod UPDATE v2.0 - Coming Soon!

Well guys, the tires aren't even hot yet on the NSCS 2010 Mod, and thanks to everyone's feedback and suggestions, we are currently in the process of making our first update to the already extremely popular NSCS 2010 Mod.

Here's a quick rundown of what we are working on in Version 2.0:

New Back End - Based off some information that was provided in the feedback, we have completely remodeled the car from the base of rear window back. Updates include a completely new decklid and rear bumper. Should be closer to the real life COT.

New Rear Wing and Supports - That's right, a completely new rear wing, end plates and wing supports will be included.
 
3d Fuel Overflow - The fuel overflow tube is now modeled, not just an image on the template.

3d Jack Tube - Now crew members will actually be able to jack the car on pitstops with the jack tube modeled instead of an image.

New Wheels - We heard the cries of how the wheels didn't look realistic, so we are modeling new wheels and tires for this update.

Updated Templates - We got the best of the best in template makers at BC Racing Designs to produce Updated templates for this release (Thanks to BCR!).

New Dash and Interior Textures - SB70 has been working on new updated textures for the new version, and you will see improvements throughout the cockpit!

2048 and 1024 Download - With all the issues raised on the installation of the 1024 lo-res updates, we decided this time to have 2 complete mod installs. 1 for 2048 Hi-res textures and cars and 1 for 1024 Lo-res textures and cars.

Unsure on date - we are going over the improvements with a fine toothed comb. Denis is working hard, and we are all supporting him and mentioning areas to be improved.
 
It will be WORTH THE WAIT - stay patient, gang!

With the updated rear of the models is that going to change the template layout any, or will our current paints work with no problem?

There will be a small change...sorry, but at least making these changes before speedweeks will minimize the amount of reworks that have to be done.

if the templates are going to change does that mean the 2009 cars that you guys did will have to be redone?

I highly doubt they will be redone................. but no they wont exactly fit in the rear anymore. I dont know this for a fact but I'd say you probably wont get any cars with the update.........

awesome mod - its hard to believe you can make it better - thanks to all for the hard work and time spent producing this mod

I think you guys could work a bit more on the front end damage. No matter how hard the hit, the hood won't pop off the car unless something tears it off the car, mostly because of the tether system that was introduced last year.

Just my opinion,
